Can you believe we are in February of 2016 already!? It’s scary how fast the days and weeks fly by! It feels like we were just celebrating Christmas and New Years yesterday… Seriously.
Anyways, I wanted to start a new “series” where I post my current favorite things at the end of each month. I always see a lot of bloggers doing this and really enjoy their posts so why not chime in too!
My uncle Jimmy and his fiance Nikki gave me this Kneipp Evening Primrose Body Oil as one of my Christmas gifts back in December. Before this oil, I had never smelled Primrose before (to my knowledge) but I’m so thankful they introduced me to it because it is life changing!! As soon as you put it on you feel so soft, feminine, fresh, and ready for bed!
I got this baby (Black Radiance Continuous Color Pigment) for $3 at Five Below and have been using it for everything you could possibly imagine ever since – eye shadow, highlighter, bronzer, mixing it in lipgloss… EVERYTHING. It’s fine, very metallic, and pigmented. If you are medium – dark brown complexion go grab you one girl. It will go a long way!!
I added another “casket color” (as my mom would call it) to my collection lol! I can’t help but obsess over neutral nail polishes – They just look so clean, and are perfect for every occasion. This one is called Montpelier Walk.
This my friends, is my BLESSINGS JAR!! 🙂 I got it from Target in the “Dollar Spot” section when you first walk in. Since I’m working on positive thinking this year, I figured this would be a good way to help keep me on track. Whenever something good happens, I write it down on a small piece of paper with the date, and put it in my jar. At the end of the year I’m going to take all of the pieces out and reflect on all my blessings for the year!
The color and consistency of NYX’s new Liquid Suede Cream Lipstick in Sandstorm is another fav of mine lately. It is a true nude that is perfect for every skintone (seriously). You can wear it without a liner, but I prefer it with one to define the lips a little more and add some warmth to it.
These earrings were also a Christmas gift from my uncle and his fiance. I don’t remember what store they are from because I put them on so fast when I got them but the style and size is perfect!
Another fav is this Mini Capri Jar Candle that my uncle Brandon got for me from Anthropologie. The White Volcano scent smells fresh and citrus-y, kind of like a sweeTart but not in an immature way! I love it!
And last but not least, my favorite January accessories! Oval cat-eye sunglasses and my new wallet! Now I have to admit, when I first saw these glasses (also from my uncle Bran) I was a little hesitant because I had never been able to find cat-eye glasses that looked good on my round face. But these were a hit – They compliment a round face so well!
The wallet was a gift from my parents – I had been carrying my old one for FIVEEEEE years!! I won’t go into how busted it was, but I will say that I’m loving this one for all the card storage and how it’s helping me stop hoarding papers and heavy coins! 🙂
