Over the weekend I attended my company’s holiday party at Cuvee lounge in Chicago, IL. I was a little skeptical at first given the low ratings on Yelp, but ended up having a BLAST! The DJ was on point, there was plenty of seating, and the drinks on the special menu were so good!

I felt like playing in color last weekend and have been obsessed with the makeup from Beyonce’s music videos for the songs “Blow” and “Mine” so I decided to do a make up look — pulling the neon bright lips from Blow and the colorful smoky eye from Mine. Hey Guys! As promised, here is part 2 of my skin clearing tips. Last time (for Part 1 Click Here) we talked about diet, keeping your pores clean, skin type, avoiding scrubs, and scar prevention. So this time I want to dig a little deeper – I’m going to touch on “special issues” that can cause acne, specific skin care lines that I like, natural remedies, prescription meds, and make up options for acne prone skin!

So glad this finally dropped – This was the very first shoot that I assisted AJ Crimson (Celebrity Makeup Artist)! It was such an experience and great opportunity… and what’s even cooler is that I actually did the braid that is on the cover and one other picture from her spread lol!!! Ameriie was amazing! She’s so beautiful inside and out! I was already a fan, but working with her made me love her even more. 🙂
